How Do I Clear Blocked Drains ?
Does anything other than washing-up water head down your kitchen drain? Or do pieces of food and fat go down there too? Think about using a plug hole strainer to stop food fragments entering the works. Any fats left after cooking should be solidified and should go in your rubbish bin - not down the drain.
Similarly, do you have bath and sink strainers to stop hairs going down the plug holes in the bathroom? Think about the things that could be blocking up your drains and ensure you no longer let them end up in your drainage system. After all, you don't want to be doing this mucky job again in the future.
Do you flush jugs of boiling water down all your household sinks on a monthly basis - you should do!
However, blockages are not just caused by items that shouldn't go down a drain. Sometimes they occur because of corrosion or tree roots entering drain pipes or even structural defects..
If just one of your outlets has stopped flowing - perhaps just the sink, then it is likely that your drains aren't
