Decorative ceiling tiles - unusual metal ceilings and walls

Ceiling tin is also known as tin tiles, pressed metal and pressed tin.
These words are used inter-changeably on this site. They are all
correct depending on which part of the world you live in.

A ceiling finish was needed for this awning project. It had to match the style of the new tenant - GUCCI.

The Lattice panel was used.

The tin ceiling patterns featured below depict portions of a full panel. To see the pattern in more detail you can click on any of the small black and white pictures and you will then see a larger image.  Alongside the larger images are the measurements of the full panel.

Several of the panels are featured in a painted form on our Painted Tin Ceiling Panels page.

If you are finding it hard to choose a design, try printing out several of the larger black and white images, cutting them out and then joining them together to form a larger area.

Designing your decorative tin ceiling

Tin ceilings don't necessarily have the same design over the whole ceiling. In fact, in most instances, it is better that they don't.  Most often the larger designs don't fit perfectly into the size of the room anyway.   Who wants to see portions of a large design "chopped off" in order to fit the panel into the ceiling?   Here at Heritage Ceilings we specialize in designing tin ceilings so that they fit your ceiling properly and look balanced.   We place the beautiful ornate panels in the centre of the ceiling and we surround these panels with a border which is of a plainer, less fussy pattern.  The border takes up the spare room surrounding the ornate, decorative centre area.  Sometimes with larger ceilings we may break the ceiling up into several distinct areas, with a border surrounding each area.   Our expertise is always available to design your ceilings and to help you with colour schemes.  Additionally we help calculate the amount of panelling that you need.  Our role is to create a ceiling for you that will be the envy of your visitors.

Accessories for your tin ceiling

We have an extensive range of designs to choose from.  In addition to main panels we supply cornice moldings, mitre boxes and mitre leaves, moulding strips, filler strips, dado panelling, a frieze, rosettes and centre roses/medallions.  These accessories all make the difference between having a very average tin ceiling and having one which is superbly finished off.  All our accessories are featured on this website.

Extensive pattern ranges from two manufacturers

Our ceiling tin comes from the Denyer and the Pressed Tin Panels ranges. Denyer products are marked with a "D" after their names and the Pressed Tin Panels range are denoted with a "P" after their names.
