*Durability
Our pressed metal is made
from durable aluminium which moves and flexes with the
structure making it ideal for cyclone/tornado areas. The
panels
won't rust, crack or fall off and they resist moisture and odours. This makes their life-span virtually unlimited.
The panels are made to lap over each other, many having
flanges to assist overlocking. This creates a seamless
join.
*Designs/Patterns
We offer a stunning range of historically correct
metal interiors to suit Victorian,
Federation, Art Nouveau, Art Deco
and contemporary styles. Especially
beautiful are the floral designs. Take a look at the
pressed tin patterns
where you will find so many uniquely Australian designs.

Our new sheet of Acorns panelling (in the centre
of the photograph) exactly matches the pattern
on this
90 year old ceiling. The adjoining old sheet (at
the top of the photograph) has been treated for
rust.
When painted, the old and new panels will be
indistinguishable.

*Panel weights
and dimensions
The aluminium alloy used to make the
panels
is very strong, yet extremely lightweight. The panels are
large - usually 1800 mm x 600 mm or 1800 mm x 900 mm (6' x
2' or 6' x 3') so a large area can be fitted relatively
quickly. The following link lists the sizes of the various
panels available
pressed metal sizes. *Value
Our metal panelling will
add more value to your property than it costs.
It becomes
a work of art and as such
it adds a luxurious quality
to any decor.

Pressed metal wall
panelling
You can find a special range of pressed metal suitable for walls.
The designs featured in our
tin tiles for walls
range are
one-way designs suited for vertical surfaces. Additionally,
many of the ceiling patterns are also suited to wall
application.
Metal panelling be used to cover the walls from floor
to ceiling but it can also be used to great effect just on
the lower parts of the walls - just up to Dado height. Many
of our designs are 900 mm (3') high and these are especially
suited for lower wall application.
The wall panels traditionally sit on top of skirting
boards and are finished with a nice timber trim across the
top. Alternatively, we have a wall frieze which is
intended for this purpose. |
