Webmasters would you like to exchange links?

 

As you can imagine, I get many requests for link exchanges. In order not to waste your time or mine I have detailed below my requirements for link exchanges.

Firstly your web site topic MUST be related to mine, so it is a waste of your time asking me to swap links with a site that sells something such as accommodation in American hotels.

I'm not interested in three-way links.

If I see pages that have more than 20 outbound links on them then I'm less inclined to want my web site listed there.

I'm not the slightest bit concerned if your web site has a PR of 0. I'm interested in the content of your site and whether it's content will, in some way, benefit the people who visit my site.

Please don't say you will link to my site ONLY IF MY SITE HAS A PR ABOVE A CERTAIN NUMBER. As I've said above, PR is not the important factor with me in deciding whether or not to exchange links. Content is paramount and so should it be with you too.

Please use the words I HAVE READ YOUR LINK REQUIREMENTS in the title of the email when contacting me to ask for a link exchange. Then I will know you have taken the trouble to visit this page.

If you don't adhere to the rules above then I'll most likely delete your request as soon as it arrives.
